OOTN // In Love with Fashion Playsuit & 25% Off Code

Playsuit - In Love with Fashion* // Necklace - River Island // Shoes - Windsor Store*// Bag - Primark // Watch - Michael Kors // Hand Chain - Primark

Hi everyone! I hope you're all well and having a great week. As I mentioned in my previous post, I went out for my friends birthday on Sunday night and today I want to share the outfit I wore. I was recently sent this beautiful floral playsuit from In Love With Fashion, an amazing fashion website that stocks stylish on-trend clothing for very reasonable prices. I have to be honest, before I was contacted by them, I hadn't heard of the website. However, since receiving this playsuit and one other item which I'll be featuring soon, I'm hooked. I already have a list as long as my arm of things I want to buy from the website so do make sure you check the website out.

I'm a huge fan of playsuits and this one is just perfect. Its made from a light and floaty material, has a vibrant floral print and is perfect for day or night time wear. I decided to dress is up for my friends birthday but I'll definitely be wearing it on my holiday next month with sandals and a big pair of sunglasses. I also tihnk it could be worn in winter time too with some thick black tights and a jacket making it a great all rounder.

I decided to teamed it with a chunky rose gold necklace from River Island and hand chain from Primark to jazz things up a bit but it didn't necessarily need any jewellery due to the busy print. I also wore these beautiful tan heels from Windsor Store which again are perfect for the Summer. I love the t-bar strap and chunky wooden heel and can already see myself wearing them to death. I also took my new Primark clutch bag out for its first outing and I absolutely love it. The yellow clasp really brought out the colours in the playsuit and I didn't realise until I opened it that it has a gold chain attached to the bag too meaning I can use it as a clutch or a shoulder bag - how convenient!

I popped on my YSL 'Le Orange' lipstick to bring out the orange tones in the playsuit and walaah, perfect Summer outfit. I'll definitely be taking this on holiday with me next month, its so comfortable and convenient, requires no effort and is really flattering on the figure  all while still being girly and glamorous.

If you fancy treating yourself to some new clothes, your in luck! The lovely people over at In Love With Fashion have given me a unique 25% off code to share with the readers of my blog. If you like the look of anything on their website, all you need to do is pop 'couturegirl25' in at the checkout to receive the discount. Its valid on full price items until the 1st September 2013 and you can find the playsuit I'm wearing here for £36.00.

Let me know if you decide to buy anything, I'm eyeing up a Beige playsuit as worn by Mollie from the Sats! So pretty!

Lots of Love,

OOTN | Primark Playsuit

Playsuit - Primark
Boots - Garage
Bag - Louis Vuitton
Watch - DKNY

Hi Ladies! I hope you are all well. My mum, step dad and sister came to visit me in Newcastle this weekend so on Saturday we went into the city centre to do a spot of 'Christmas shopping. Of course I found myself being drawn into the likes of Primark and couldn't resist buying myself a few pay day treats. I'm really loving it in there at the moment and some of the current stock could easily be mistaken for the likes of Topshop. I bought myself a few things (haul coming soon) and my lovely mum bought me this cute black playsuit with a leopard print collar. It was quite the bargain at £15 and I think it is perfect for both day and night wear. I decided to wear it on Saturday as we were going out for a meal but as I didn't want my bare legs on show in a restaurant (I'll save that for a night on the town), I paired it with some sheer black tights and my studded shoe boots. I popped a thin tan belt around the middle of the playsuit and taaa daaah, outfit complete.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, playsuits are such handy items of clothing to own as they can be thrown on in a matter of seconds to create an effortless yet stylish outfit. I think this one would also look great paired with some thicker tights and chelsea boots for a more casual look and as I said earlier with bare legs, killer heels and a clutch bag for a night on the town. I also noticed that the material feels very thick and good quality which makes a change from the flimsy pieces you sometimes find in Primark. I can see myself getting lots of wear out of this as I think its a flattering, fun and cute little outfit. Thumbs up for you Primark.

Do you like wearing playsuits?

Lots of Love,

My 22nd Birthday Part 1 | Outfits and Instagram

Hey Lovelies. Firstly, I would like to apologise for my lack of posting over the past few days. I have been super busy all week and haven't had chance to just sit down and blog. Anyway, I have lots to share with you all as it was my 22nd birthday on Friday. Goodness I feel old. It only seems five minutes ago I turned 18. Oh how time flys? I had a fabulous birthday, got spoilt rotten and spent time with my family in Australia. It was absolutely lovely to spend my birthday with them as I've never been in Australia for my birthday before. They made my day very special and I can't thank them enough. Anyway, as I have lots to show and tell you, I have decided to split my birthday posts into two parts. First I am going to show you my birthday outfits, hair and makeup and then tomorrow I will post a birthday haul. As I said, I spent the day with family on Friday, we had thai takeaway and drinks in the evening and they had even got me a MAC lipstick birthday cake. (I will post about this tomorrow). I had a lovely relaxing night and then I went out last night with a few people from work. We just went to a local pub and then onto a nightclub and we had a fab night. The DJs in there now know me as the English girl who loves One Direction far too much. *cringe* They still played some 1D for me though which resulted in me dancing around like a giddy teenager. Yes, I have a thing for Louis from One Direction. Feel free to judge me. Anyway, enough of my blabbering, I will show you what I wore and what not. I had quite the dilemma choosing an outfit last night. If you follow me on Twitter, you will know what I'm talking about.

Fridays Outfit/Makeup - So this is what I wore on the actual day of my birthday. We weren't really going anywhere so I decided to keep it pretty casual. I still made an effort with my makeup though as who doesn't want to look nice on their birthday? I got this lovely peter pan collar top from my mum as a present and I absolutely love it. I paired it with some basic cream chinos and a black belt. I also wore my new NARS eyeshadow and Topshop Infared lipstick. (Reviews to come soon).

Top - Matalan
Chinos - River Island
Belt - H&M
Sunglasses - H&M
Ring/Bracelet - Matalan
Blazer - H&M

Saturdays Outfit - So this is what I wore last night to go out in. My Dad and Step Mum brought me this gorgeous dip hemmed dress back from Hong Kong in May and I have been saving it for a special occasion. I absolutely love the dress but I thought it was just a little bit too dressy for the place I was going. I ended up wearing this to the pub and then going home to get changed.

Dress - H&M
Belt - Missguided
Shoes - Kurt Geiger
Bag - Matalan
Ring - Primark

Saturdays Final Outfit -  After lots of deliberating I finally decided to wear this cute little floral playsuit last night. I have worn it before and it is the comfiest and easiest thing to wear. I literally just shoved it on and bobs your uncle, fannys your aunt. i decided to change form the blue dress as the town in Australia where my dad lives is quite small and known for being casual. I realise this still looks dressy but I just felt more comfortable in this than a fancy dress. If any of you follow me on Twitter, you will have already seen these pictures so I do apologise. These pictures are a selection I've recently uploaded to Instagram. I got an iPhone for my birthday and was so excited to get Instagram that I haven't been off it since. It is amazing and I urge any of you with an iphone to sign up. If you would like to follow me my username is kayleighjcouture.

Playsuit - River Island - Link
Belt - Missguided

So there we have it, a quick summary of the things I wore this weekend. I hope you enjoyed this post and it wasn't too much of a ramble. I will be posting my haul tomorrow to show you all my birthday goodies and then I will be reviewing some of the products I got this week. I hope you are all well and have had a fantastic weekend.

Lots of Love,

OOTD | Crochet Colbat

I managed to get this snap outside before it started raining, yey!

Playsuit - ASOS
Belt - Missguided
Wedges - Matalan
Bangles - Matalan/Primark

Hello lovely ladies! In my most recent outfit post I promised I would get outside and get some shnazzy OOTD photos. However, mother nature decided to be a nuisance and the weather has been absolutely awful. Seriously, you would think I was back home in the UK at the moment and not in Australia. With that being said, getting outside in the natural sunlight has been somewhat impossible meaning yet again these outfit pictures aren't the best. They were taken inside using a flash but I hope you can still get the jist. I mentioned in my 'Pocahontas Playsuit' post here that I had recently bought a couple of playsuits from ASOS. Well, this beautiful crochet number was one of them. I can't tell you how much I love this playsuit. The first thing I love is the colour as it is very bright and perfect for summer. This was also available in yellow on the ASOS website but I personally loved this colbat blue shade as I thought it would work better with my blonde hair and blue eyes. I also love the crochet detailing along the bust and the open back. The only thing I dislike about this playsuit is how easily it creases. It is made from a silk type material and although it feels lovely on the skin and is very comfortable, it creases at the slightest movement. Oh well, I guess it's just something I'll have to deal with and hope people don't think I've lost my iron. haha! I decided to pair it with a thin tan waist belt and tan wedges in the above pictures as I think anything tan works well with blue. The wedges were an absolute bargain of around £12.00 and I wear them all the time. Good old Matalan providing me with another gem. As you can see from the photos, I just shoved my hair on top of my head and left it. Sometimes I like that messy look as it helps give the outfit a more casual feel. Although I would definitely wear this on a night out as well with huge heels and big backcombed hair. I couldn't find this exact playsuit on the ASOS website but they are currently having a huge sale with upto 50% off some items so if you want to have a look at that you can do so here.

What do you think of playsuits? Do you love them as much as me?

Lots of Love,

OOTD | Pocahontas Playsuit

Playsuit - ASOS
Glasses - Primark
Bracelet - Pandora
Lips - Revlon 'Lollipop' Lip Butter

Hey Dolls! Firstly, happy Jubilee day and secondly, I have finally got round to doing an outfit post, yey! If you follow me on Twitter you will know how much I've been wanting to do one but never having the time. Is it just me or are outfit posts a complete mission? It all starts with having to make myself look acceptable enough for a picture, then find a nice background, then find some good lighting, then fiddle around with my camera because it won't focus and then analyse the pictures until I have some decentish shots. Yes, after all that there is no wonder I rarely have the time to do outfit posts. I guess my perfectionist personality doesn't make it any easier but if any of you lovely ladies have tips on making things quicker please do share. That being said, I do love an outfit post. I think they add a personal feel to my blog and I feel a sense of achievement when I capture a good shot. I also love seeing other bloggers outfit posts   and getting some inspiration for my own outfits. It is much nicer to see what real girls are wearing then the supermodels we see in the glossy magazines.
Moving on to what I'm wearing in the pictures above is this cute little playsuit from ASOS. I had been eyeing it up on the website for quite some time and each time I checked, it was sold out in my size. ASOS seem to have a habit of having no size 8s and 10s in stock, does anyone else notice that? Anyway, I kept checking back in hope they would get more in stock and much to my surprise, they did. As soon as I saw my size, I popped it in my basket and bought it, no hesitations. I also picked up another playsuit but I'll save that for another outfit post. I have a bit of a thing for playsuits because I love how easy they are to wear. I knew I'd be able to throw this on and my outfit would be complete. When it comes to fashion, I'm quite lazy. I prefer chucking something on that will look effortlessly stylish than having to mess around with ten different layers.
I love the detailing on this playsuit and the fact it is open at the back, the print reminds me of Pocahontas (I have no idea why) and I love the fact it doesn't need any accessories to make it look good. As you can see, all I am wearing in these pictures is my pandora bracelet. Of course I would add a chunky ring or bangles if I was going somewhere nice but for day to day wear, I think this playsuit is the perfect lazy outfit. It cost me £45.00 which I realise is quite pricey but I think it is justified when I know I will get a lot of wear out of it. I will definitely be dressing this up for a night out with big wedges or teaming it with a pair of sandals for a family day out. I think this is a very easy to wear, versatile item and I love it. I'd also like to add how much I am loving Revlon Lip Butter in the shade 'Lollipop'. I have been reaching for it a lot lately and it really brightens up my face when the rest of my makeup is minimal. It looks quite muted out on the picture above but in reality it is a gorgeous deep pink shade. Beautiful.

If you love this playsuit as much as me, you can find it on the ASOS website here. They only have size 16 in stock at the moment but it seems they keep selling out and re-stocking so all hope is not lost. I guess lots of people are loving this just as much as me!

Have a fabulous Jubilee day everyone!

Lots of Love,

OOTD - Casual Layering

Hey Everyone! If you follow me on Twitter here you may already know I had asked what everyone thought of posed outfit posts. By posed I don't just mean your usual hand on hip and smile to the camera type pose, I mean proper posed pictures with a nice background or surroundings that have a somewhat professional look to them. I guess you see these type of pictures mainly on fashion blogs but as I had never tried it before I thought I would give it a whirl. My dad lives in a lovely wooden house with big windows so I thought the balcony would be the perfect place to get some good shots. I do quite like these more posed pictures as I think they show off an outfit better. I wasn't planning on doing an outfit post yesterday in the slightest as I got up, through my hair up in a messy bun and didn't even bother putting any makeup on. Hence the big Primark sunnies I'm wearing. However, as I was looking for something to wear I decided on this aztec print playsuit from H&M. I then teamed it with my new jumper featured in my previous post over the top and I thought it made quite a cute combo. I'm a huge fan of layering as I think its such an easy way of creating a stylish look. You can create so many different looks with a simple bit of layering. For accessories, I wore the necklace and bag I bought in Brisbane which are also featured in my previous post. Overall, I think the whole  outfit worked well and made for a stylish casual look.

What do you think of these posed kind of pictures? Would you like to see more outfit posts like this on my blog? Please let me know your thoughts.

Lots of Love,

A trip to Brisbane & A Couple of Outfits

Playsuit - River Island
Belt - Primark
Necklace - H&M
Wedges - Matalan
Fringed Bag - Peacocks

Playsuit - River Island
Bag - Marks & Spencers
Sandals - Primark
Sunglasses - Primark

Hey beauties! Firstly, I just want to say this is a huge post with so many pictures so I hope it doesn't bore the socks off you. I went to Brisbane on Thursday so I wanted to share with you all what I got up to and what I wore. I went with my dads friends daughter Tahlia (what a mouthful) and we drove down on the Thursday so we could go for a few drinks and then we went shopping yesterday. We had a lovely couple of days and I just LOVE Brisbane. Seriously, it is such a pretty city. As we were driving through the city on we saw some amazing flats (pictured above) and I felt like I was in an episode of 'The Hills' or something. I'm such a dreamer.
On thursday night we headed into the city for a few drinks. I just wore a floral playsuit from River Island as the Aussies don't seem to get half as dressed up as we would in the UK. The city nightlife wasn't very busy due to it being a Thursday night but everywhere was really cheap and played good music so we still had fun. At the end of the night we ended up in a club called 'Cloud Land' (also pictured above) and it had the most amazing decor I've ever seen in a nightclub. The bar was made up of clear balls and there were fairy lights and vintage furnishings everywhere you looked. The music was Latin on Thursday so there were couples dancing professionally all over the club and they were amazing. These people seriously need to audition for some kind of talent show. I was mesmerised by them. There was also a group of black girls who were booty shaking and again, their moves were amazing.
Yesterday we headed to a shopping centre called Westfield and it was every shopaholics fantasy. When I was younger I used to think Australia was just full of surf shops and nothing else but this place had everything imaginable. They even had an Inglot shop so I was ecstatic. I'm sure theres only one Inglot shop in London over in the UK. I may be wrong but I've never seen one anywhere so it was nice to be able to buy some Inglot treats. I bought a few more bits and bobs but I won't tell you what as I'm going to do a separate haul post all about that. I wore another River Island playsuit to go shopping in which was a bad move as I needed to take the whole thing off every time I tried something on or went to the toilet. We also stopped for some lunch while we were shopping and I got an amazing Burrito in the food court from a place called 'Salsas'. I wish we had them over in the UK, it was so nice and Mexican is one of my fave foods ever. Overall, it was a lovely couple of days and I can't wait to go back soon and  see more of Brisbane's pretty sights.

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend so far. I'm off to the pub today for my dads friends birthday. Drinks in the Ozzy sun - How lovely!

Lots of Love,
