Luxury Accessories Wishlist

I've always been a huge fan of accessories from a very young age. My mum always instilled the message into me that 'accessories can make an outift' and I have to agree, they can. Whether its a statement piece of jewellery or a great handbag, accessories can completely transform a look from drab to fab. I thought it'd be fun to share a little wishlist with you all of the accessories I'm currently loving. There's a real mixed bag but I love them all!

First up we have a couple of items from Michael Kors - the Selma handbag and the Bedford Za Continental Soft Venice purse. These two items have been on my wishlist for as long as I can remember as they're classic pieces that would go with any outfit. I was actually going to put my birthday money together and treat myself to the handbag this Summer - what do you guys think? Is £315 a bit excessive for a handbag? I absolutely love it but I can't help thinking I could get a dupe for a fraction of the price? Decisions, decisions!

Now no accessory wishlist would be complete without a bit of statement jewellery. The two items that I'm currently coveting are this beautiful TAG watch from The Watch Gallery (I love the mix of gold and silver) and this feather ring from Pandora. The watch is way out of my price zone but hey, a girl can dream! As for the ring, I've seen a few people wearing it on their thumb and it looks so cool - the photo above doesn't do it much justice. I think its around £70 which isn't too bad - I might pop it down on my birthday wishlist!

A must have accessory for the up and coming Summer season is a nice pair of shades and these Clubmasters from Rayban are perfect. I was recently sent a pair of their classic aviator style (keep your eyes peeled for a giveaway soon) and I love them so much that I now want to treat myself to another style. I can feel a Rayban obsession beginning - uh oh!

A few more random accessories that I'd like to get my mitts on are a Filofax to keep my hectic life a bit more organised, a Kate Spade phone case to jazz up my Iphone and a Zoeva rose gold brush set to prettify my dressing table (okay - not just for this reason. I've heard very good things about them). Accessories aren't just limited to shoes, jewellery and bags after all!

So there we have it - a few luxurious accessories I'd love to get my mitts on.  Which accessories are on your wish list?

Lots of love,

10 Things I Wish I Could Afford ...

Hi Ladies! Last night I was thinking about all the things I want but just can't afford to buy at the minute. As sad as this makes me, it gave me an idea for a new post. I have seen people doing 'weekly wishlists' on their blogs so I thought I would create one of my own. I have picked ten things that I've been lusting after and I thought I'd give a quick summary of why I need to get my mitts on each of these things.

1. Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch - This has been on my wish list for ages now and I'm pretty sure it will stay there until I somehow rustle up the money to buy it. These watches are a bit of a beauty bloggers fave and for me, I'm no exception. I especially love this rose gold one I have picked out, I think it looks cool yet classy at the same time. For all you lucky ladies who already own one of these - I am utterly jealous! I wish santa would hurry up so I can write him my list ;).

2. YSL Rouge Volupte Lipstick - Again, I have been lusting after one of these lipsticks for quite some time now. Another beauty bloggers fave and I can 100% see why. Just look at that beautiful, intricate gold packaging? Isn't it just to die for? I recently swatched these lipsticks in Brisbane and instantly fell in love. Creamy, pigmented and amazingly beautiful to look at. What more could a girl want?

3. NARS Duo Eyeshadow - Since receiving the 'Isolde' duo for my birthday, I have decided I need more of these in my life. They are some of the most pigmented eyeshadows I have ever used and so handy for travelling. They have a massive range of shades and I have been eyeing up 'Kalahari' in particular.

4. Studded Shoes - Yes, that's right. Studded shoes. It doesn't matter where they come from, I just need a pair. I absolutely love the whole studded trend whether its jewellery, shirts or shoes. These particular ones are from Topshop for reference and I love them. I think they are perfect to wear with skinny jeans or leggings and instantly spruce up an otherwise boring outfit. I may have to treat myself to these even though I'm currently poor. I'll just have to class them as a Autumn/Winter essential. Hmmmmm.

5. Topshop Blazer -Every time I go on the Topshop website, this jumps out at me. I don't know why I do it to myself, it's torture. Theres nothing worse than knowing you would get so much wear out of something but still not being able to justify spending money. I'm not much of a jacket wearer so most of the time you will find me in blazers, whatever the weather. I live in my black blazer and feel like I need a new colour to mix things up a bit. I love this beige one as it will go with almost every piece of clothing I own. I also love that blazers can instantly spruce up a plain outfit. Someone buy it for me? Pleaseeeee 8).

6. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation - I have heard great things about this foundation and as a huge NARS fan, I'd love to try this. The name Sheer Glow really appears to me as I love nothing more than glowy, dewy skin. Has anyone ever tried this?

7. Miss Dior Cherie Perfume - After having a few sniffs of this, I am in love. It has such a beautiful sweet girly scent and the bottle is so gorgeous and girly. It will definitely be my next perfume purchase.

8. Inglot Eyeshadows - A few months ago I bought the 10 pan freedom eyeshadow palette from Inglot. At the time I bought three eyeshadows and I absolutely love them. They are creamy, pigmented and best of all, cheap. I would love to get my hands on another seven shades to fill my palette but until I have money, they will have to remain on my wish list. *sobs*.

9. Origins Gin Zing Eye Cream - Again, this is a fairly hyped product on the beauty blogging scene and all the good reviews have got me longing to try it out for myself. I really like the idea of a brightening eye cream as I often find my eyes look quite dull and tired in the mornings. Have you tried this product? Does it live up to the hype?

10. MAC Heavenly Creatures Collection - I recently swatched the new Heavenly creatures collection and everything was so gorgeous. I love the Mineralize products from MAC so this is my ideal collection. I particularly loved the Mineralize Skinfinishes, blushes and eyeshadows. So basically everything then? Yeah. Why are you so expensive MAC? Boo!

Do you own any of the things on my wish list? Which products are you lusting after at the moment?

Lots of Love,

Summer Must-Haves

Summer Must-Haves
Swimsuit - All Saints, Sunglasses - Ray Bans, Orange Sandals - Michael Kors, Maxi Dress - Topshop, Playsuit - Republic, Oversized tee - Celeb Boutique, Denim Shorts - Miss Selfridge, Bangles - Miss Selfridge, Wedges - Debenhams, Lace Skater Dress - River Island, Fringe Bag - River Island,  Floral crop-top - Topshop

Hi Guys! I just wanted to share with my very first Polyvore creation with you all. I've seen these wonderful clothing collages on lots of my favourite blogs but I never had any idea how to make one myself. I decided I would take to Twitter to see if anyone could help. Thankfully, lots of lovely bloggers offered their advice and I found Polyvore. Have I been living under a rock? How did I not know about this wonderful website? Anyway, I can already tell I'm going to love making these collages and this is my very first one called 'Summer Must-Haves'. My name on Polyvore is 'kayleighcouture' if any of you use it. The reason I did this is because I'm going to Australia next week and I have constantly been thinking about clothes I need to take and items I consider 'essentials'. Now of course I don't mean they essentials like food and water, but they are essentials for a girl like me and I'm sure many of you, who love clothes. I am going to go through each item and tell you why I think its a 'must-have' for my summer wardrobe.

Swimsuit - I absolutely love these kind of swimsuits. I think they are very flattering, edgy and make a nice alternative to a standard bikini.
Sunglasses - If only I had the money going spare to afford these beautiful Ray-Bans. I adore this style of glasses and I think they complete any summer outfit. Oh, and they keep the sun out of your eyes of course. Sensible and all that.
Sandals - We all need a nice pair of sandals in the summer don't we? I think these are amazing but again, out of my price range. They are Michael Kors but you can find cheaper high-street alternatives. I actually have a black pair which are very similar from matalan.
Maxi Dress - For me, maxi dresses are an essential summer item. I own a fair few now and I just love them. They are so easy to throw on and look instantly stylish. This one from Topshop is gorgeous and can be dressed up or down.
Playsuit - Isn't this the cutest playsuit ever? Playsuits are much like maxi dresses for me. Easy to throw on and effortlessly stylish. A summer staple. I totally love the aztec/tribal print of this one from Republic and it would look perfect on a hot summer day.
Oversized tee - Again, tops like this are so easy to throw on in the summer and look great with denim shorts. I own a variety of printed tops and I especially love the aztec print on this one from Celeb Boutique.
Denim Shorts - I think denim shorts are the biggest 'must-have' summer item for me. They go with literally anything and can be dressed up or down. I love this cute high-waisted pair from  Topshop with the tribal print. Can you tell I love tribal/Aztec prints yet? A classic summer item.
Bangles - When it comes to accessories, nothing says summer more than a selection of chunky bangles. I have many gold/wood style bangles like these Miss Selfridge ones as the colours go with any outfit.
Wedges - Again, a classic summer item. For me, it's all about the tan wedges in summer and I love these ones from Debenhams. I know I keep saying this but they can be dressed up or down and are a really versatile item to have in your summer wardrobe. I have some very similar to these and I wear them all the time in the summer months.
Skater Dress - I absolutely love skater style dresses as I find them really flattering on my figure. They cinch you in at the waist and look pretty and girly. I love this pastel blue one from River Island and I think this would be perfect for a summer BBQ or beer garden.
Fringe Bag - Fringing, what can I say? I love it. When it comes to summer, I love anything fringed. Don't ask me why but I think it screams summer. I love this tan bag from River Island and the colour will go with anything and it will glam up any summer outfit.
Crop-Top - I love these style crop-tops in the summer time. I own one quite similar to this from Topshop last year. It seems they have continued the trend this year and brought out a few more colours and styles. I love how these look with high-waisted shorts and body-con skirts. Perfect for a night out with the girls.

Anyway, that's enough from me. If you managed to read all of this mammoth post, congrats! I hope it didn't bore you too much.
What are you summer essentials? Is there any more 'must-haves' you can recommend for my trip to Oz?

Lots of Love,
