Lavish Alice Guest Post #4 | Tie-Dye Midi

Hi everyone! Happy Valentines Day! Whether you’re spending it with your partner, loved ones or friends I hope you all have a wonderful love-filled day (bah, so soppy!). My boyfriend Matt and I are going out for a meal tonight so I’m very excited to stuff my face with yummy food and have a few tipples. I’m also wearing a lovely new dress so keep your eyes peeled for a Valentines Day outfit post coming soon. Anyway, back to the point of today’s post (gosh I’m a rambler), I want to share with you my fourth and final guest post for Lavish Alice, BOO! I've thoroughly enjoyed having the chance to try some of their amazing clothes and can now officially say their website is one of my favourites – bring on Spring/Summer clothes shopping.

Talking of Spring/Summer, the final item I want to share with you all is the gorgeous tie-dye midi dress that will be absolutely perfect for the warmer weather. Ever since buying myself a midi dress to wear on New Year’s Eve I've completely fallen in love with them. I find them flattering, ladylike and classy. They’re a great ‘midi’ length as the name suggests and I love the fact there’s definitely no risk of flashing my bum whilst wearing one.

I’d been hoping to get myself a summer midi that would look great teamed with my tan heels on a night out or with sandals for a casual look and this is definitely it. The fitted body makes it great for a night out but the racer back style gives it a more casual feel meaning it works well for all occasions You know me, I love a good versatile piece of clothing! Once upon a time I would've never dreamed of wearing something with a tie-dye print, I always thought it was very nineties and a bit dated but in recent times the fashion world has gone a bit tie-dye crazy. I think this mix of blue and white is a great combo and I find the colours really flattering against my blonde hair and blue eyes. 

As you can see in the photos above I've decide to style it for a night out with my super high orange heels, matching clutch bag and a rose gold statement necklace. To be honest, even though I'd class it as a summer item, I'd definitely still wear it on a night out now. Its so comfortable too, the cotton material is super soft and I'm already picturing myself wearing this on my holiday to Portugal in the summer.

You can find this dress here and it comes in at only £17.00, what a bargain! I would definitely pay double that amount as I know I'll get so much wear out of it.
