Amazing Advertisers | November

Hi Ladies! So its that time again where the lovely ladies who have been over in my sidebar for the past month get to introduce themselves and their blogs to all of my lovely readers. They are all fantastic girls and each and every one of their blogs is a great read. Keep reading this post to find out a little bit more about them and make sure you click on the link to their blogs and follow if you like what you see! I also have a fab jewellery shop featured which is definitely worth checking out with Christmas just around the corner.

I'm sure you will be just as impressed as I am so without further ado, let me introduce you to...

Meg from Wonderful You

My blog is all about what it says in the title – celebrating what is wonderful about you! It’s filled with my constant impulse fashion buys, vintage bargains, latest beauty finds, a few lifestyle/photography posts and a touch of my YouTube videos thrown in for good measure. *phew*

Wonderful You began, like most blogs do – reading others and thinking why can’t I give it a shot?! It’s a hobby that I thoroughly enjoy and it’s such a fantastic network to meet other lovely people who have the same interests as you. It’s my little secret, and not many people in the ‘real world’ know about it yet. Although, I’m starting to become more comfortable with the idea the more I write!

It’s a bit of a mixed bag – I love photography & enjoy sharing what I learn with my readers. My fashion sense is mainly high street based, but when it comes to skincare I like to make a splurge and go for the more luxury brands. Well, we’ve gotta keep those wrinkles at bay eh ladies?

I only started up in April of this year, but I don’t think I’ll ever want to stop writing my little blog. Do make sure you drop over and say hello – I love a good natter :)

p.s. share anything fox related with me and I will love you forever (this is not a lie)

Rebecca from Serenity Jewels

Serenity Jewels is a fresh, new & on trend jewellery brand that designs gorgeous statement jewellery for both guys & girls. Designed Becky Jacobs, each piece is handcrafted using Semi Precious gemstones, freshwater pearls & Swarovski elements.

From every day bracelet stacks to Saturday night sparkle pieces, Serenity Jewels offers jewellery for every occasion, outfit & mood.

So a little about the designer… I’m basically a fashion crazy, beauty obsessed, lover of anything girly!! Vogue is my bible & Carrie Bradshaw my god ;-) I started hand crafting my own designs because I couldn’t find what I wanted on the high street for a special night out! My other half thought if I made my own pieces I’d stop spending so much on the high street… how wrong was he?! I now love nothing more than sourcing new semi precious beads & charms from all over the world.  I don’t think my postman is quite as enthusiastic about all the deliveries!

Over the past few months i’ve been humbled by the reaction Serenity Jewels has had, I love nothing more than sending out items to guys & gals and seeing people wear my items. It’s such an amazingly surreal feeling!

Coco from The Beauty Milk
My name is Coco and I'm a 20 year old engineering students who has always wanted to do something makeup related on the side.  My studies don't generally mesh with things that are beauty related, so after years of reading numerous blogs I decided to make my own.  I have found the most amazing and supportive community that has fueled my passion for experimenting with makeup.

I love to share my opinion on products, so I post many reviews that can help you research before you buy.  Having a blog has made me more experimental so you will see me trying out makeup trends, using fun bright colors, and featuring a wide spectrum of beauty products.

You can find my blog at http://thebeautymilk.blogspot.com or tweet me @coco_tbm.  I also run a makeup inspiration blog on Tumblr: http://thebeautymilk.tumblr.com/

Tasha from Wand Included

Hi, I’m Tasha and i’m 20! I have an addiction to shopping and make up and something to do with that made me start my blog 2 years ago. I have watched beauty Youtube videos and read other peoples blogs for about 4 years and then one day I just decided that maybe I could do it too!

I love reading other people’s hauls and OOTD’s so these are features that regularly appear on my blog. I love getting inspiration from what other people can put together so hopefully some of you guys can from mine!

I am a Trainee Pharmacy Technician so I don’t really get to show my fashionable side at work, however hard I try! So, Wand Included is where I get to be myself and blogging is definitely something that I really enjoy so feel free to come and check my blog out.

A New Favourite | MAC Lady Danger Lipstick

MAC Lipsticks - £14.00 - Link

Hi Guys! I hope you are all well and having a great week so far. I've been back to the doctors today after being ill for almost 4 weeks now and was told I have sinusitis. I've been given a course of antibiotics so I'm hoping they will work their magic sooner rather than later as I am feeling so fed up and down in the dumps. I'm currently snuggled up on the sofa under a warm duvet so I thought I might as well cheer myself up by writing a blog post. I'd also like to say thanks for your lovely tweets - I can always rely on my fellow bloggers to cheer me up! *hugs*

I was recently lucky enough to win a giveaway from the gorgeous Rachel who writes the lovely blog Write on Trend. She was hosting a giveaway to win a MAC lipstick of our choice and I was over the moon when she contacted me on Twitter to let me know I'd won. It was the first giveaway I'd ever won (I've won another one since - how lucky?) and as a huge MAC fan, I couldn't of asked for a more lovely prize to win than a MAC lipstick. I'm sure you all know by now how utterly obsessed I am with lipsticks so I had no problem whatsoever when it came to choosing one from my huge wish list. I'd had my eye on 'Lady Danger' for as long as I can remember and after reading some reviews and drooling over gorgeous swatches online, I told Rachel this is the one I'd like.

I was super excited when it arrived in the post for me and as soon as I took it out of the classic MAC packaging I was amazed by the bright, vivid colour staring back at me. Orange is one of my favourite lip shades to wear as I find it really brightens up my face and this one is no exception. It's a bright orange shade with red undertones and a matte formula. I'm not usually a fan of matte lipsticks as they can be drying but this one still has a slight sheen and the amazing pigmentation makes the matte finish completely worth it. I also found that this lasted much longer on my lips than glossier lipsticks I own which saved me having to touch up as often as I usually would.

I also love that this lipstick has been named 'Lady Danger' as I think it has such a lovely ring to it and it matches the shade and formula of the product perfectly. When I look at this shade it makes me think of one of those sexy siren ladies you see in the old fashioned movies wearing hats and fur coats. Is that really random? I wore it at the weekend with my new coat from my previous post and I must admit I felt very ladylike and loved the contrast between my black  coat and statement lip. I have a feeling I will be wearing this shade a lot over the next couple of months to add a bit of colour to my face during these cold winter months.

With that being said, thank you very much for my new favourite lipstick Rachel!

Do you own Lady Danger? Whats your current favourite lipstick?

Lots of Love,

My New Winter Coat | M&S Trench

Hi Ladies! I hope you've all had a great weekend. I'm currently curled up in bed still suffering with this god damn ear infection. I've been using antibiotic ear drops to try and clear it up for four days now but they don't seem to be doing much - great ey? I think I'll have to make a trip back to the doctors again next week if things don't start to improve as I barely have enough energy to move from my bed never mind go to work full time and function like a normal human being.

With this being said, this post is going to be short and sweet. I wanted to quickly show you all the coat I picked up yesterday from Marks & Spencers. Yes you read that right, that shop M&S that I never thought in a million years I would ever buy a coat from. I've been searching for a nice winter coat for ages now due to the fact I've been freezing my ass off wearing blazers or a leather jacket to work instead of a 'proper' coat. As much as I love wearing them they just aren't appropriate for this bitterly cold English winter weather so the hunt for something warm and cosy yet stylish at the same time was on.

I usually get a little bit frightened about wearing really statement coats so when I spotted this double breasted black trench with a simple fur collar and leather trim, I was sold. I love that it will go with absolutely anything, I love that it cinches me in at the waist and I love that it is not only practical but stylish too. I opted for a size 8 as I found the sizings quite generous but the 8 fits me perfectly. The fur collar is detachable too which is handy for those occasions I want to look a little more formal. I wore it for the first time last night and instead of shivering and moaning about how cold it was, I felt snuggled, warm and content. Even better, I was told I looked 'very classy' by my boyfriends dad which has to be a compliment right?

The only down side about this coat is the price as it set me back a pretty steep £85.00. However, when it came to deciding whether to buy it or not I decided I would get so much wear out of it that the price could be justified. It also feels like its made from high-quality materials so hopefully it will be long lasting too. I feel very satisfied I now have a proper coat to keep me warm and hopefully keep these nasty colds at bay throughout the winter months.

I've managed to find it on the M&S website so if you want to have a look in more detail, you can do so here.

Do you love wearing warm and snuggly coats in the winter months?

Lots of Love,

Hi Ladies! I haven't done an Instagram diary post in quite a while now so I thought it was about time I made a cute little collage of my latest insta-snaps. I personally love these kind of posts as I feel like I get to know a little bit more about the blogger each time I read them and it also gives me an excuse to ramble away to my hearts content. We all know how much I love a ramble now don't we?

I've not been well lately so the past week has consisted of me going to work, almost overdosing on cold and flu medication and snuggling up on the sofa. I'm finally getting over the flu now but now my ear has now decided to cause me a lot of pain - great! I had to leave work yesterday after the dizziness and pain from my ear became too much. I took myself along to the nearest walk-in centre and had to wait over two hours to see a nurse :(. It turns out my ear canal is inflamed meaning I have an outer ear infection so I'm having to use ear drops three times a day until it improves. I really hope thats sooner rather than later as feeling deaf in one ear isn't the nicest thing I've ever experienced. So other than feeling unwell I've had a lovely couple of weeks chilling out with my nearest and dearest. My boyfriend was away in Las Vegas with his friends last week so my Nanna and Grandad came to visit me and keep me company for the week. We had a lovely time - good food and good giggles at the latest series of I'm a Celebrity get me out of Here. If watching Helen Flanagan eating genitals and Rosemary Shrager farting isn't entertainment then I don't know what is 8).

Although we had a great week, I was very upset to hear my dads cat Porsha has sadly passed away. I grew quite close to her during my time in Australia (see photo of me holding her above) and she was the most beautiful, timid cat I've ever come across. She was so nervous around people but I'm glad I got to give her some cuddles before she passed away. She certainly entertained me in Oz and I enjoyed giving her sneaky bits of chicken from the fridge haha. I've never actually owned a pet of my own but I can't even being to imagine how upsetting it must be to lose one as they become part of the family. I'll miss you next time I'm in Oz Porsha but I hope you're having a great time in Kitty heaven. ♥

On a more positive note, Matt returned from Vegas on Sunday and it was so lovely to see him. It was weird not seeing him every day like I normally do but it sounds like he had a fab time and he very generously brought me back some NARS goodies from Sephora. I've always wanted to visit Sephora (beauty blogger heaven?) so I was super excited when I was handed the cute black and white bag. It will be going on display somewhere in my bedroom no doubt. Is that sad?

I'm going to a work party tonight, it's my first at my new job so I'm quite nervous but looking forward to it all the same. The company I work for are celebrating their 10 year anniversary so we are having a glam night at a fancy hotel in Newcastle. I imagine we will have a great time and I'm very excited to wear my beautiful new dipped hem dress from Miss Selfridge. I asked for your opinion on Twitter/Instagram and everyone seemed to like it so I hope it will go down well with my new work chums too. I probably won't have chance to get any proper photos wearing it but I will pop any photos I do get up on my Instagram.

So thats all from me for now, I hope you are all doing well and thanks again for helping me reach a massive 2500 GFC followers. I still can't believe it.

I'm super busy for the next two days so I'll be back with a review on Sunday.

For now, Lots of Love,

Week Day Wishlist | Beauty Sets

Hey beauties! I'd just like to start this post by saying thank you so much for your amazing comments on my '1st year of blogging' post and for all of your lovely tweets. It really made my day to see how much support I have gained in the space of a year, it really is incredible. Also, I reached 2500 GFC followers tonight which is a massive achievement so again, thank you so much. I am completely overjoyed.

If you follow me on Twitter you may have seen me tweeting about an exciting new 'blogging tool' I've recently been introduced to and a few of you were intregued as to what I was talking about. Well, a little while ago I was emailed by a company called 'Beauty Sets' who informed me of their amazing new website where bloggers can create magazine style collages including wish lists, tutorials, favourites and so on with the click of a few buttons. After playing around on the website last night I came up with a 'wishlist' collage and absolutely adore how it turned out. Not only was it so easy to do but I also love how professional it looks. It enabled me to let my creative juices flow whilst picking my design and I have a feeling I will be using this website a LOT in the future.

If you love this concept as much as I do, I urge you all to pop over and check out their website. It's one of the best I've discovered in ages and I'm totally thrilled I can now create blog posts that look as though they've been taken from the pages of a magazine. SO COOL! After all, we all want our posts to be easy on the eye right?!
So without me blabbering on like an excitable child for much longer, here is my first ever Beauty Set wish list of the things I am currently craving. Whens pay day again?

Real Techniques Starter Set

Ever since Real Techniques brushes came onto the beauty scene, I've been utterly addicted to them. Since buying the 'core collection' earlier this year I have used the buffing brush every single day to apply my liquid foundation. I also use the contour and powder brush daily too. My most recent purchase was the blush brush which again, I'm in love with. I love them so much in fact that I 100% need to get my hands on the 'starter' set which includes a combination of eye brushes. To be honest, I probably don't need it but I feel my RT collection is incomplete without it. First world problems 8).

Stile in the Light Palette

After hearing two of my all time favourite beauty bloggers, Zoella & Sprinkle of Glitter raving about this palette, I have wanted and needed it in my life. I keep trying to tell myself 'you do not need another eyeshadow palette' but this one is just too gorgeous to miss out on. It contains ten beautiful, pigmented shades which are all versatile, easy to wear colours. I can definitely see this becoming my 'go-to' palette for the festive seasons. If you want to read Zoe's post which includes some amazing swatches, you can find it here. Be warned though - you will want it after reading her post!

OPI Nail Envy

Okay so my natural nails are poopy. Not only are they short and unattractive to look at but they are also extremely weak after years of wearing acrylics. With this being said, I need to get my butt into gear and start taking care of my nails. With Christmas just around the corner I would love for my natural nails to be in a somewhat nice condition ready for the part season. I've heard a lot of other blogger raving about this polish and claiming its a miracle worker for short and brittle nails like mine. Now I'm not expecting this to work miracles over night but I am hoping to achieve healthy, strong nails. If its worked for you, let me know in the comment below.

YSL Shocking Mascara

So I sound totally stalkerish right now but this is yet another product I'd love to get my mitts on after hearing Louise (Sprinkle of Glitter) declare her love for it. I must admit, I've never been one to spend a lot of money on mascaras but the beautiful gold packaging of this one makes it an exception. I also believe mascara can make the biggest difference to the overall appearance of my makeup so it would be nice to try a 'high-end' one to see if it makes any difference to my lashes. I don't think I'd buy this myself purely because I don't have enough money at the moment *sob*, but I'm definitely popping it on my Christmas list. If you want to see it in action you can read Louise's review here.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation

After taking to Twitter to ask you lovely ladies what your favourite foundation for combination skin is, a lot of you said this one by NARS. I always thought with a name like 'Sheer Glow' it was targeted at people with dry skin but apparently it works well on oily/combination skin types too. I was very pleased to hear this as I'm a huge fan of NARS products and I'm sure this one will be no exception. I think I'll be popping to my local SPACE NK to pick up a sample before I buy it though.

Moroccan Oil

Although I've tried and own other hair oils, something inside me tells me I need to own this. I mean its the original, classic and supposedly 'best' hair oil around. I was even more convinced after my friend Debra who's training to be a hairdresser told me I NEED it as well. The only down side is the price is but I'm sure like most hair oils, it would last me a long, long time.

Bumble & Bumble Thickening Spray

To be honest, I don't need this product but I would love to try it. Firstly, who wouldn't want to own something from a brand called Bumble & Bumble? Hello, coolest name ever. On a more serious note though, I've read a few reviews that claim this product is amazing for giving hair volume and body. As a girl who loves the 'big hair' look, it sounds right up my street.

I hope you enjoyed this post and have enjoyed discovering a fabulous new website as much as I did. Let me know if you create your own beauty set as I'd love to see what you come up with. You can find the website here.

Whats on your wish-list at the moment?

Lots of Love,

Couture Girl's 1st Birthday | My 1st Year of Blogging

Image - weheartit (Edited by Me)

Hi Everyone! I can't quite believe I'm saying this but this time last year on a cold November evening, I sat down with my laptop and decided to start a blog. That's when my little space on the interweb 'CoutureGirl' began. I seriously can't believe how quickly a year has passed me by and how much this blog has changed my life. It sounds dramatic but it really has. A year ago today, I was not the girl I am now. Not only was I feeling very down and going through some hard times but I had zero confidence in myself and my abilities. To be honest, I'm still working on my confidence and positive mental attitude but things have improved massively for me since expressing myself through my blog and I can't thank each and every one of you reading this enough for supporting me and welcoming me with open arms.

As much as I love beauty products and gushing over my favourite new lipstick, blogging is much more to me than that. Not only does it give me an outlet to discuss something I've always been passionate about but it also allows me to be creative, express my feelings and meet amazing new people. For instance, this time last year I didn't even think I'd be going to Australia this year never mind for five months and sharing it with you all on my blog. I also never thought I'd open up to anyone I don't know about my struggles with OCD but low and behold this blog gave me the courage to openly share it on the internet. Oh and best of all, it actually helped people. How amazing is that?

I know everyone says 'it's not about the followers' in these type of posts but I'm not going to lie and say it doesn't make me exceptionally happy to see a new face over in the sidebar. Of course it makes me happy, I still can't believe people actually like reading what little old me has to say to be honest. When I first started my blog I remember saying to my auntie "I started a blog - I don't know if anyone reads it but a few faces have appeared over at the side" - oh the shame! Now I look over there to see over 2,000 faces and feel completely overwhelmed and blown away. I don't really know how it happened but I couldn't be more grateful. I'd also like to take this opportunity to say thank you so much to anyone who emails, tweet or leaves comments on a regular basis as you wouldn't believe how much it brightens up my day. To know I can always pop online and talk to people who 'get' me and share the same interests is absolutely amazing. I would class a lot of you as friends now, even though we've never actually met in reality. Its actually crazy when I think about it. I'd also like to say that if we haven't had a chat yet, please don't hesitate to send me a tweet or an email. I always, always, always reply to everyone and I pride myself on being approachable and friendly. After all, without you guys reading my rambles, I would be talking to myself right now.

I guess what I'm trying to say without sounding too soppy is thank you. Thank you for helping me to realise what I want in life, thank you for boosting my confidence, thank you for helping me through tough times and thank you for sharing this new chapter in my life with me. I have a feeling its going to be the best chapter so far.

I hope to continue blogging for many years to come and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for me and my blog. Happy Birthday little bloggy wog - you couldn't make me happier!

PS - If you want to read my VERY first post just because its pretty funny you can find it here

Lots of Love,

My Haircare Routine

Hi Ladies. I hope your all having a lovely weekend so far, I'm still full of flu so I'm not up to much other than sitting in front of the tv watching Take Me Out, The X Factor and I'm a Celebrity get me out of here. It's nice to have a cosy weekend in sometimes though and I have my Nanna and Grandad visiting to keep me company so that's lovely.

I've been meaning to write this blog post for what feels like forever as it is one of my most highly requested posts. Whether its via emails, tweets or blog comments for some reason unbeknown to me, lots of people seem to like my hair and want to know what I use on it. I always try to answer all the 'what do you use on your hair' questions as thoroughly as possible but as you will gather from the rest of this post - theres just too many products I love and use to begin listing them all in a tweet or email. With this being said, I hope this post will be useful to someone who is looking for some new products to get their hair in tip top condition. For reference my hair is coloured with bleach and a slightly darker blonde shade.

Shampoo & Conditioner

To be honest, when it comes to Shampoo and Conditioners, other than 'Touch of Silver'  purple shampoo, I don't tend to stick with a certain brand. I like to change things up, experiment and see whats out there. However, I do try to buy relatively high end brands as I find a good quality shampoo and conditioner lasts longer and keeps my hair feeling fresh and shiny for longer than cheaper brands. These are the ones I've currently been using ...

Joico Body Luxe Thickening Conditioner

One of my favourite high end hair brands is definitely Joico so when I spotted this humongous conditioner for the bargain price of £10.00 in TKMAXX I just had to have it. As my hair is long and thick I go through conditioner so quickly its an actual joke so thankfully this one will last me a lot longer than standard size bottles. It says its a thickening conditioner which I'm not sure I actually need or if it actually works but nevertheless it leaves my hair soft, shiny and smelling incredible. I really don't think I've sniffed a nicer conditioner. Yum!

John Frieda Colour Renew Tone Correcting Shampoo

This is a relatively recent purchase of mine but I absolutely love it. I've been using this almost every day at the moment and it smells beautiful. As it's a tone correcting product it banishes any brassy yellow tones from my blonde hair and leaves it looking bright and fresh. It lathers up amazingly and a little goes a long way. If you are a blondie like me I can't recommend this product enough.

John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo

I've actually just finished this bottle of shampoo and have really enjoyed using it. I was particuarly interested in the John Freida 'Full Repair' range after seeing it featured on lots of blogs and I have to say, it's lovely. Much like the colour renew it smells amazing and leaves my hair feeling clean and refreshed.

PRO:VOKE Touch of Silver Shampoo

This is another tone correcting shampoo that has been a favourite of mine for years and an exception from my 'high-end' rule. It is one of my all time favourite hair products as it does an amazing job at brightening my blonde highlights for such an affordable price (around £3). Unlike the John Frieda Colour Renew that can be used every wash, this can only be used twice a week as its quite a strong and potentially drying if it were to be used too regularly. However, once or twice a week it does an amazing job refreshing my colour and I will continue to repurchase it for years to come. If you want to know more about how it works you can read my post all about it here.

Toni & Guy Reconstruction Mask

This was a random purchase for me a while ago when my hair was feeling a bit dry and needed a boost. I really love using deep conditioners as they give my hair that extra nourishment it might need. Being a blonde my hair is more partial to getting dry but I find using products like this really help to keep it in tip top condition. This one from Toni & Guy smells gorgeous and left my hair feeling smooth, soft and shiny.

 Treatments

Babyliss Pro Argan Oil

I reviewed this product a few months ago here after buying it from the duty free catalogue on my flight to Oz. When I was in Australia I used this every single time I washed my hair and it made such a difference to the overall condition and appearance of my locks. I use a small pea size amount each time I use it and evenly distribute it from the mid-lengths through to the ends. It seriously conditions my hair, leaves it soft and incredibly shiny. I definitely think this is one product that has helped my hair to remain healthy despite the bleach it often gets abused with. I highly recommend trying this or any hair oil for that matter if you want to keep your hair healthy and help it grow.

Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave-in Conditioner

Good old Aussie, who doesn't love this brand? It smells amazing and does what it says on the bottle - conditions my hair. I love this product as I can use it generously without it weighing my hair down and it is also suitable for wet or dry hair which is perfect for those days when I'm not washing my hair but need a conditioning boost.

Lee Stafford Poker Straight Overnight Treatment

This is one of those products that I absolutely HATED when I first used it. I used it once and then it sat in my draw for months without being touched. Its an overnight treatment that is applied to dry hair and washed off in the morning. At first I found the sensation of putting a thick cream onto dry hair totally bizarre as it made it sticky and greasy looking. However, after using it a few more times I've grown to love it. Although I'm still not a fan of the way it makes my fair feel upon application, I have been plaiting my hair after use and leaving it to work its magic overnight. My hair was going through a really dry faze a few weeks ago and after using this one night and washing it off the next morning, I was left with exceptionally soft hair. I must admit I only use it every now and again as its too time consuming to use every night but overall I really like it and it's unlike any other hair product I've ever used.

Schwarzkopf Liquid Silk Leave-in Conditioner

This is another of my absolute favourite hair products. I actually reviewed it way back when I first started my blog here. If you click that link you will see that I named the post 'My Hair Savoiur' so that says it all really. As well as looking beautifully pink and pearly in the bottle it really does condition my hair amazingly well. Much like the Aussie spray, I spray this all over my hair whether its wet or dry whenever it needs a boost. If I use this every day I really begin to notice a difference in the condition of my hair. To top it off, it's a bargain and currently on sale for only £1.80 at Superdrug here.

Joico Moisture Recovery Leave-in Moisturizer

Yet another amazing product that I recently reviewed here after buying it on a whim from Feel Unique. When I bought it, I didn't really need it but after using other products from Joico and loving them I just had to give it a go. As you can probably tell by now, I'm a sucker for leave-in conditioners as I find them so convenient for those times I haven't got time to sit around for 10/15 minutes waiting for a hair mask to sink in. Leave-in conditioner sprays can be spritzed all over my hair in a matter of seconds and I am good to go. Much like the Aussie and Schwarzkopf versions, this works an absolute treat. However, this smells the nicest. You know when you leave a hair salon and can't stop sniffing your hair? THAT!

Redken Velvet Whip Thermal Softening Treatment

I got this Redken product in a Christmas gift set a couple of years ago and it has lasted me for what seems like a lifetime as I only need to use a pea sized amount each time. Its a cream formula so I try to avoid my roots and just run it through the mid-lengths to ends of my hair. Its a lovely product and it leaves my hair feeling super soft after I use it. I also find my hair blow dries nicer when I use this.

Styling

VO5 Plump Me Up Dry Shampoo

This is another recent purchase of mine and I really like it. I know most dry shampoos do the same job but this one smells lovely and doesn't leave my hair with bright white roots like a lot of dry shampoos can. I find this really handy for those days when I want to get an extra day out of my hair without washing it. I believe washing hair too much can be damaging so a product like this helps to prevent me from over-washing. It's also great for lazy days too.

John Freida Full Repair Root Lift Foam

To be honest, I've not used this many times as it's one of those products that I only tend to use before a night out when I want that extra boost of volume in my roots. However, on the times I have used it it's been very lightweight and left my hair looking bouncy and shiny. I might do a full review on this when I've used it a bit more.

TRESemme Touchable Finish Hairspray

These mini hairsprays are my all time favourites. I don't even want to begin to imagine how many of these I've bought over the years and although I do buy the bigger versions too, these minis are my fave. I don't know why, but I have a thing for mini products as I find them so handy to pop in my handbag, especially for a night out. Surprisingly one of these small bottles lasts me a few weeks as I only give my hair a quick spritz in the morning for some added volume. However, I have been known to use almost a full one on a night out - Shocking I know. I find this one gives me the perfect hold and like it says on the bottle my hair is still 'touchable' unlike their 'freeze spray' version which makes it rock solid.

Lee Stafford Argan Oil Miracle Heat Defence Spray

Again, a relatively recent purchase of mine - can you tell I like buying hair products? Although I haven't been using it for long, on first impressions it has been lovely. As I'm sure you all know it's so important to protect our hair from heat so I've been spraying this all over my hair before blow drying and straightening. As well as smelling lovely it also contains Argan Oil which is an added bonus.

Brushes

Diamonte Paddle Brush

I got this as brush as a birthday present and need I say more? It's huge, works a treat and is covered in diamontes. Every girls perfect hair brush right? Unfortunately I'm not sure where it's from, I tried finding it online but didn't have much success. Boo!

Denman 3D Zebra Brush*

I was sent this brush by Denman a while ago now and can honestly say it is the most amazing hair brush I have ever used. As my hair is quite long and thick it has a tendency to tangle very easily and I quite often get out of the shower to find my hair is quite unmanageable. However, but this brush works amazingly well at removing tangles without causing any damage. Of course I love that its Zebra print too, super cute.

So there we have it, these are the products I'm currently using on my hair. I realise it looks like a lot but I don't use all of these things every day. I alternate them all or use a few of them in conjunction with each other depending on what I feel like my hair needs at that moment in time. I'd also like to point out that leaving my hair to dry naturally for almost five months straight in Australia was one of the best things I ever did for my hair. Considering I'm a blonde my hair is still in good condition so laying off the heated appliances and using a few of these products will certainly help you to achieve nourished, healthy hair.

All of the products mentioned are available from Boots, Superdrug or Feel Unique excluding the paddle brush. Let me know if you treat yourself to any of the products I've recommended and how they work for you. I hope you all enjoyed this post and discovered a few new products you might like to try!

Have a fantastic Saturday night,

Lots of Love,
